This Promotion is promoted by “Quanta” and “Igloo” ice cream brands. All participants to this Promotion ("Participants") shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions.

This Promotion is open to residents of Oman only.
Any person over (18) years of age at the time of entry can enter the Promotion. In case a person younger than the age of (18) is entering, we reserve the right to require that their parent or guardian confirms in writing that they agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and will accept any prize on behalf of the under (18) year old prize winner.
It will be at our sole decision as to whether any eligibility requirement has or has not been met and we may require evidence or confirmation from entrants before awarding prizes.
Promotion is available on: “IGLOO” and “Quanta” ice-cream sticks only.
Participants need to go to www.scanforfun.com, enter the unique code and contact details for a chance to win.
Participants shall retain their promotional packaging as it may be required for verification in the event of a win.
Deficient entries: The Promoter will not be responsible for any entries not received, not recognized, not accepted for any reason, or delayed for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending or entering such details does not constitute receipt.
The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter the competition is prohibited.
Names: entrants must enter Promotion using their full legal name. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who uses multiple names or any false names and to require them to return to the Promoter any prize they may have won. The entrants give their consent to sharing the details for the purpose of the Promotion.
Winner/s will be selected based on a random lucky draw conducted by the Municipal Authorities.
The selected winner will be contacted by the Promoter by email to the email ID/Mobile number given during their participation (ensure to put correct Email ID. No other email ID will be considered for further communication if Email ID is wrongly entered in the Promotion) for collection of the gift from the location stated in the mail.
The winners will receive their vouchers within 2 to 3 weeks after getting in touch with our team.
We reserve the right to request proof of a prize winner's identity in the form of proof of residence. In the event that a prize winner cannot provide us with such proof, we may withdraw the prize and select another prize winner in the same manner as the first.
The Participant shall claim the prize within (90) days of intimation failing which the Promoter shall be at liberty to choose another winner. Promoter's decision with regards to this Promotion is at its discretion and final including the winner selection and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Any pictures depicting the prizes on any media or promotional material are for depiction purposes only and in certain instances the actual prizes may differ. The Promotion does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of the products or services being offered as prizes.
Each winner will be solely responsible and will bear all costs for any meals, transport, insurance, duties, taxes, licenses, permits, approvals and/or other additional or incidental costs or expenses which may be incurred as a result of and/or related to the winner's acceptance of their prize, including but not limited to any registration fees incurred for the use of their prize.
We make no representation or warranty in relation to the prizes provided and to the fullest extent permitted by law we shall have no liability to you in relation to any prize, its fitness for purposes, merchantability or otherwise.
The Promoter will not be liable for any prizes which are lost, delayed, or damaged in the post for reasons beyond our control.
Prizes awarded in this Promotion may not be exchanged for cash or any other items. Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for another prize of similar value. All prizes are non-transferable. Substitution of prizes by the winners is prohibited.
In case an entrant or prizewinner has not complied fully with or found to be in breach of the Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may nevertheless still enforce our right to disqualify that person and require the return or reimbursement to us of any prize even where a prize has already been awarded and/or actually provided to the entrant or prizewinner in question.
All prizes are subject to availability, non- transferable and non- exchangeable. In case the prize winner does not take any element of a prize at the time stipulated by us (or any relevant third party prize provider) then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and no replacement prize will be granted. No cash will be awarded in lieu of that prize or part of it.
Any tax payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the responsibility of the winner. Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize if this is a concern.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties for future communications. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise required by law, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Participant.
By entering this Promotion, Participants warrant that they have read and agree that you will be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of being carried on as planned, the Promoter, to the fullest extent permitted by law, reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion and to disqualify any Participant who tampers with the Promotion and/or the entry process. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer software and/or equipment, failure of any e-mail account or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to any participant's or any other third person's, resulting from any participation.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any death or personal injury suffered or sustained as consequence of participation in the Promotion.
All Intellectual Property with regard this Promotion shall be solely owned by the Promoter, its trading company or group companies. The Promoter shall not be liable to the Participants in any manner whatsoever including for any force majeure situation. This Promotion shall be governed by the applicable laws in the UAE and the courts in Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction. The Promotion may be conducted or withdrawn at the sole discretion of the Promoter without any claim, compensation, or contest.
