1. Scope of this Program
This Loyalty Program is called “Escape the Heat” and is organized by International Foodstuff Co. LLC (“IFFCO”). All Members of this Program("Members") shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
This Program is eligible in the following countries (“Applicable Countries”):
- United Arab Emirates
- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Kingdom of Bahrain
- Kuwait
- Jordan
- Tunisia
These terms and conditions apply to the Program and aspects thereof. By registering in the Program, the Members fully and unconditionally agree to have read and accept these Terms and Conditions.
We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. You should check our website regularly for any changes that apply from the date they are uploaded.
2. Definitions
- “Program” shall mean this Loyalty Program conducted to incentivize the Members.
- “Program Period” shall mean the period of the Program defined hereunder.
- “Promoter” shall mean IFFCO.
- “Product” shall mean and include all Igloo and Quanta Ice-cream products which have the unique code mentioned on the ice-cream sticks.
- “Member” (s) shall mean a customer registering in the Program as per the Terms & Conditions.
Disclaimer: Simply registering for the Program does not ensure receipt of a coupon. To qualify for a coupon, a Member must accumulate points according to the Terms & Conditions.
- “Terms & Conditions” shall mean these Terms and Conditions for the Program.
3. Personal Information
- The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Program and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, coupon suppliers and as required, to regulatory authorities.
- Entry and participation in this Program is conditional upon Members' providing this information.
- The Personal Data will be used for as long as necessary to satisfy the purposes for which your Personal Data was collected or to comply with applicable legal requirements.
- Members may direct any request to access, update, correct or withdraw personal information to the Promoter.
- Member hereby consents to the use of their personal information in the manner set out in these Terms and Conditions and waives their rights to initiate any claim against the for privacy invasion, improper disclosure of personal information or any other related claims.
- Members give the Promoter perpetual right at no additional cost to use their name, image, likeness, and/or photograph anywhere in the world, for editorial, advertising, promotional, and marketing purposes related to the Program, unless prohibited by law.
4. Program Period
- The Program will be valid till the Product stocks are available in the Applicable Countries or one year from the date of launch (25th June 2024)
- Promoter reserves the right to cancel/amend/extend the Program Period. Any such change in the Program Period shall be reflected in the terms and conditions available on the website of the Program.
- No requests or questions shall be entertained regarding extending or amending the Program Period in any manner. Entries received outside the Program Period will not be eligible for the Program.
5. Eligibility
- This Program is open to residents of the following countries:
- a. United Arab Emirates
- b. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- c. Kingdom of Bahrain
- d. Kuwait
- e. Jordan
- f. Tunisia
- Any person over (18) years of age at the time of entry can enter the Program. In case a person younger than the age of (18) is entering, we reserve the right to require that their parent or guardian confirms in writing that they agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and will accept any coupon offered by the Promoter on behalf of the under (18) year old Member.
- Promoter reserves the right to exclude any person from entering the Program on grounds of misconduct, misrepresentation, coercion, fraud, deceit or for any other reasons, as it may deem fit and proper. No communication in this regard from the Member or his representatives shall be entertained by the Promoter.
6. How to Register
- Process for Registration:
- a) Choose the correct country of your residence out of the Applicable Countries.
- b) Register your profile by filing the personal details.
- c) If you find a unique code on the Product i.e. Igloo and/or Quanta ice-cream stick.
- d) Then you may enter the unique code to accumulate points by scanning the QR code on the Product pack, which will direct you to www.scanforfun.com website or you may directly visit the website www.scanforfun.com.
- e) Enter the unique code as mentioned on the Product’s ice-cream stick.
- f) Each unique code is assigned a certain value (points)
- g) You will accumulate points on each submission of a new unique code.
- h) Upon accumulating the points (as mentioned under clause 8(i) of the Terms and Conditions), you become eligible for availing exciting coupons.
- Members shall retain their Product packaging’s as it may be required for verification purposes, when availing the coupons.
- Deficient entries: The Promoter will not be responsible for any entries not received, not recognized, not accepted for any reason or delayed for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending or entering such details does not constitute receipt.
- The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter the Program is prohibited.
- Names: entrants must enter Program using their full legal name. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who uses multiple names or any false names and to require them to return to the Promoter any benefit they may have received from the Promoter. The Members give their consent to sharing the details for the purpose of the Program.
- Employees of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, authorized dealers/distributors, agents and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the Program. Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any such person from receipt of any coupon and/or require the return of any coupon awarded. In such an event, and subject to any legal requirement, the Promoter reserves the right to provide the coupon to another Member and/or dispose of the coupon in any manner it deems fit, in its sole discretion.
- Participation in this Program and the content of these Terms and Conditions are subject to restrictions as may be contained in the laws and regulations of the respective country.
7. Points Accumulation
- A Member will accumulate points on successful registration and fulfilling the steps as mentioned under clause 6(i) of the Terms and Conditions.
- Each unique code is assigned a certain value (points), Members accumulate points on every submission of a new unique code.
- The Member will be eligible for different coupons with different value based on the number of points they have accumulated.
- A Member must provide proof of identity to claim the coupon and if found that they have enrolled with a different identity then their membership will be forfeited and another Member will be selected, upon the discretion of the Promoter.
- The Coupons under this Program are free of cost and the Members are not required to pay for the same or send any money or share any Bank or Card details with Promoter. Promoter shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the Member if any money is paid, transferred or bank/card related details are shared by the Member.
8. Coupons
- The Members will get a chance to avail one of the following coupons upon successfully accumulating points as mentioned below:
Coupon for points accumulated:
- A. 5000 Points: Coupon worth value up to AED 5,000
- B. 2000 Points: Coupon worth value up to AED 2,000
- C. 1000 Points: Coupon worth value up to AED 1000
Note: The minimum points to be accumulated to be eligible for a coupon is 1000 Points.
- The points accumulated are non-transferrable and non-tradeable and cannot be exchanged with cash. The points can only be used to avail the eligible coupon.
- The Members eligible for a coupon will be contacted by the Promoter by email to the email ID/Mobile number given during their registration (ensure to put correct Email ID. No other email ID will be considered for further communication if Email ID is wrongly entered in the Program) for collection of the coupon from the location stated in the mail.
- We reserve the right to request proof of a Member’s identity in the form of proof of residence. In the event that a Member cannot provide us with such proof, we may withdraw the coupon and select another Member in the same manner as the first.
- The Member shall claim the coupon within (90) days of intimation failing which the Promoter shall be at liberty to choose another eligible Member. Promoter's decision with regard this Program is at its discretion and final.
- Any pictures depicting the product/services on any media or advertising material are for depiction purposes only and in certain instances the actual product/services may differ. The Program does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of the products or services being offered as coupons.
- Each Member will be solely responsible and will bear all costs for any meals, transport, insurance, duties, taxes, licenses, permits, approvals and/or other additional or incidental costs or expenses which may be incurred as a result of and/or related to the Member's acceptance of their respective coupon, including but not limited to any registration fees incurred for the use of their coupon.
- Promoter make no representation or warranty in relation to the product/services provided in the coupons and to the fullest extent permitted by law we shall have no liability to you in relation to any coupon, its fitness for purposes, merchantability or otherwise.
- The Promoter will not be liable for any coupons which are lost, delayed, or damaged in the post for reasons beyond Promoter’s control.
- Promoter reserves the right to substitute any coupon for another coupon of similar value.
- In case a Member has not complied fully with or found to be in breach of the Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may nevertheless still enforce right to disqualify that person and require the return or reimbursement of any coupon even where a coupon has already been awarded and/or actually provided to the Member in question.
- All coupons are subject to availability, non- transferable and non- exchangeable. In case the Member does not avail the type of coupon at the time stipulated by Promoter (or any relevant third-party provider) then that coupon will be forfeited by the Member and no replacement coupon will be granted. No cash will be awarded in lieu of that coupon or part of it.
- Any tax payable as a result of a product/service being awarded or received from the coupon will be the responsibility of the Member. Members should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a coupon if this is a concern.

10. General Terms
- Each Member represents and warrants that he/she is legally competent to enter into binding contracts under applicable laws. By taking part and/or entering into the Program, the Member warrants that all information provided by Member regarding Member's name, age, state, city, address, phone number, etc., is true, correct, accurate and complete.
- If for any reason this Program is not capable of being carried on as planned, the Promoter, to the fullest extent permitted by law, reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Program and to disqualify any Member who tampers with the Program and/or the entry process. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer software and/or equipment, failure of any e-mail account or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to any Member's or any other third person's, resulting from any participation.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any death or personal injury suffered or sustained as consequence of participation in the Program.
- The Promoter shall not be liable to perform any of its/their respective obligations under the Program or in respect of the coupon where it is unable to do so as a result of circumstances beyond its/their control in the nature of fire, explosions, natural calamities, state emergency, riots, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine or any other force majeure condition, etc., and shall not be liable to compensate or pay damages to the Member in these circumstances.
- The Promoter shall not be accountable/liable for any disruptions/stoppages/interruptions or cancellation of the Program due to any law-and-order situation or government restrictions/ judicial pronouncements.
- The Promoter accept no liability, whether jointly or severally, for any errors or omissions, in relation to the Program. The Member shall be solely responsible for any consequences which may arise from his/her participation in the Program. Member also undertakes to indemnify the Promoter and its officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, on the happening of such illegal acts committed by the Member.
- The Members acknowledge that the quality of the coupon, and the services of the courier service are not controlled or supervised by the Promoter, hence any issue with relation to delay in delivery or damage in transit shall have to addressed to the Courier delivery partner and defect in product or services shall have to addressed to the manufacturer or service provider of the product /service alone and Promoter shall not be held responsible for it.
- All Intellectual Property with regard to this Program shall be solely owned by the Promoter, its trading company or group companies.
- This Program shall be governed by the applicable laws in the UAE and the courts in Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction. The Program may be conducted or withdrawn at the sole discretion of the Promoter without any claim or compensation.
- No queries, claims, dispute, complaints or grievances shall be entertained by the Promoter after 30 days from the date of the closure of the Program.
